Hugmun care uses natural leather in its work. The more exclusive the item is in your hands, the more careful and careful it should be in use and the more care it requires. Try to protect the product from moisture, including in rainy weather. If your bag gets wet, let it dry naturally, after wiping it with a clean cloth for the care of leather products. Do not use artificial drying methods, as hot air damages the skin.
We recommend that you do not overload the bag with objects. Leave some free space in your bag so that the bag retains its shape.
How to remove a stain on a leather surface?
Remove the contamination as soon as possible from the moment it appears, using a soft cloth cloth. Do not use napkins containing alcohol, dyes and/or flavorings. Before applying the cleaner, test the product on a small area of skin. When wiping the contaminated area, do not press the cloth too hard, so as not to discolor the skin.
How to store a leather bag?
Do not leave the bag in a place with high air temperature for a long time, and also do not expose the leather product to direct sunlight. Store the bag on a flat surface, we do not recommend storing it suspended by straps on hooks in your dressing room or hallway. If you do not use the bag for a long time, unfasten the straps and buckles to prevent the appearance of marks on the skin.
During operation, avoid excessive mechanical loads, impacts and friction of the product surface against hard or sharp objects.
Additional care Tips:
- Never wash the leather bag, including in the washing machine;
- Keep cosmetics in a cosmetic bag, and also use sturdy cases for pens, pencils and anything that can stain the bag;
- Avoid cleaning products containing acids, detergents and/or alcohol;
- Take the bag with clean hands, as genuine leather tends to absorb dirt;
- We do not recommend self-restoration of the purchased product. If any damage occurs, please read the warranty conditions. At the barbershop, be especially careful and keep your bag away from dyes, sprays and other hair products;
- Try to avoid touching light skin with dark clothes and jeans, as the color of dark fabric can be transferred to natural skin;
- Please note that products containing silicone often clog the pores on the surface of a leather product – this may make it impossible to clean them in the future.
